Originality, made in France

French designer Jean Francois Rey founded his namesake brand in 1985. Since then, the company has attracted a worldwide following thanks to its ongoing quest for original, innovative colours, shapes and ways to work with stainless steel and acetate, drawing inspiration from multiple sources. Production methods are improved daily, transforming each pair of glasses into a unique accessory. Visually and texturally, the surfaces of J.F. Rey pieces resemble leather and animal hides, silk fabric, design objects from the 1960s and filaments of colour in abstract paintings. Each frame is made according to artisan methods in the company workshop, located in the Jura mountains of France. The ingenuity and creativity of J.F. Rey are a touch of class for bold, daring personalities.
